At ARA Property Services, we believe that staff training is an integral part of our service delivery. Training programs for our staff are continuous, active and realistic. They consist of thorough induction training, followed by day-to-day training, instruction, advice and correction advice during the performance of services. This is also supported by formal training courses.
Our approach to developing our cleaning staff involves seven distinct steps:

ARA Property Services provides safety training on WHS procedures, emerging legislation and safe work procedures. WHS training is conducted as a key component of our induction training program and staff are also required to undertake formal WHS training.
To achieve effective cleaning the type of equipment used is of paramount importance.
The selection process for ARA’s equipment is the result of a comprehensive purchasing evaluation process, which also assesses the cost and availability of spare parts. Evaluation also covers true cost and productivity and – where possible – equipment is given trial periods to ensure that it satisfies the needs of the task.
