The ARA Property Services division was strategically created in May 2017, through the acquisition of Melbourne-based CMC Property Services, to complement the ARA Group’s essential services divisions with cleaning and property maintenance services. Trading as ARA Property Services, CMC provides contracts of any duration, for facilities of any size, and tailors its wide range of services to each site. This includes offices, buildings, hotels, restaurants, educational and childcare facilities, and places of worship.


For over 20 years, CMC has established itself as an efficient, customer-oriented service provider for professional cleaning, property maintenance and emergency response services throughout Australia, available 24/7. All of our services are completed to all relevant WHS and Australian standards.

Paul McCann, Chief Executive Officer

Bachelor of Town Planning (Victoria University), BSCAA Victorian President FMA Member. Paul has experience within all aspects of property services. Paul founded CMC Property Services in 1994 and as such has built the company from its basic beginnings to where it is today. CMC has become one of the leading property services companies servicing customers nationally and in New Zealand. Elly Krommidas, Group Managing Director

Bachelor of Arts and Social Science (Latrobe University), Graduate Certificate in Business Management (Australian Institute of Management). Elly joined CMC in 2004, bringing a wealth of industry knowledge in the delivery of customer service and brand experience. Over her tenure, Elly has been instrumental in the development of CMC’s National Client Services Centre and has been the key in developing and gaining accreditation for CMC’s OH&S, Quality and Environmental Management Systems. Now as Group Managing Director of ARA Property Services, Elly is responsible for the commercial and business strategy. She oversees the National operations, strategy, planning, budgeting and people and performance management of CMC Property Services. Amongst Elly’s key strengths are her abilities in vendor negotiation and contractual management. An affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, Elly has been responsible for establishing sustainable and strategic procurement services for ARA Property Services’ customers. Connect with Elly on Linkedin



Mark Helps, Regional General Manager VIC/TAS/SA/NT

Diploma in Management Practices (Australian Institute of Management).

Mark has been involved in the facilities management industry for almost 40 years. He has worked for several different organisations, from medium sized private businesses, to large national and international corporations, with a unique understanding of what motivates and drives different sized businesses. Mark is experienced in dealing with clients and staff at all levels. His key competencies include strong leadership and decision making, team building, financial analysis and control, commercial aptitude, start-up dynamics and business development, organisational development, communication and interpersonal skills, and ethical standards. Dani Anderson, National Client Services Manager

Diploma of Management (Swinburne University).

Dani’s employment history spans over nine years within the Client Services and Facilities Management industries. With her wealth of experience, she brings innovations and suggestions for efficiencies in contract management and reporting. Her background in the ever-changing Facilities Management industry as well as formal qualifications in Management have allowed her to work with a diverse range of people, cultures and attitudes. This experience has equipped her with strong client service skills. She is solution-driven and delivers in an efficient and timely manner. Adam Mercer, National Business Development Manager

Certificate IV in Building Studies (Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE) Certificate II & III Asset Maintenance (Lennox Institute).

Adam has over 24 years of experience in the building industry including five years in the commercial property maintenance industry. His experience in the delivery of service and contract implementation has allowed him to work with customers in developing specifications that would most benefit their organisations. In his role as National Business Development Manager, Adam will oversee Sales and Business Development and will assist with transitioning new client partnerships ensuring that all facets of service delivery, relevant KPIs and SLAs are met.
